PRF Microneedling

Microneedling improves Acne, Wrinkles, Loose skin, Skin quality, Pore size, Skin spots, Stretch marks, and Scares. The two types of microneedling Include, Ridiofrequency (RF) Microneedling and Traditional Microneeding Pen.

RF Microneedling (VIVENCI RF)

  • RF Microneedling is done with Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling Device releasing RF energy inside the tissue.

  • RF Microneedling produces a much stronger effect compared to traditional micro-needling, creating super turbo collagen stimulation.

  • Very customizable, with the ability to adjust skin depth and RF energy levels, to decrease discomfort and achieve desired results.

  • VIVENCI RF is a bloodless procedure with Insulated needles, preventing any skin burns.

  • Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) can applied over RF microneedling to increase the effects of collagen stimulation.

  • Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) can also be applied instead of PRF for those with smaller veins.

  • Minimal downtime with only 1-3 days of skin redness without skin peel.

PRF Miconeedling Pen

PRF Miconeedling Pen

  • Traditional Microneedling done with microneedling pen over Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF). (May also be done over Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) or Hyalulronic Acid Serum)

  • PRP or PRF used during microneedling releases growth factors known as “Vampire Facial”. (PRF becomes a gel within 10 minutes of production and limits the working time, whereas PRP allows about 1-2 hours of work to cover multiple areas).

  • PRF is a 2nd generation PRP, stays in tissue for 3 months and stimulates collagen for 3 months, compared to PRP which has 1 month of washout time.

  • Prior to the procedure, a topical anesthetic is applied for 45 minutes, after which the microneedling is done on the skin over the solution.

  • The damage caused by the needles triggers the body to stimulate Elastin and Collagen production, resulting in skin rejuvenation usually seen 4-6 weeks after the procedure.

  • Expect to have pinpoint bleeding during the microneedling and wear comfortable clothing for a few hours.

  • Deeper needle treatment can be done at each subsequent session, as the skin becomes thicker and able to tolerate it.

  • For Best Results, a series of 4 to 6 sessions is recommended 1 month apart.

After the procedure, Collagen enhancing serum is applied to help repair the skin damage.

  • For sensitive skin topical products with active ingredients should be applied carefully to avoid irritation.

  • Complications may include: bleeding, bruising, infection, scarring, and pigment problems.

  • Recovery Time:

    • 1-3 days of swelling and redness.

    • 3-7 days skin returning to normal.

    • Expect 3-5 days of mild Skin pealing.

    • Usual Healing time of up to 10 days.

  • AFTERCARE FOR HEALING:

    • Wash the face several hours after treatment, and Gently massage the face with warm water (gentle shower can be done instead). Remove all serum and other debris such as dried blood. Mineral makeup may be applied the following day.

    • The skin will be very dry and feel tight on days 1-3, but frequent use of a Hyaluronic Acid serum will reduce the discomfort. You may return to regular skin care products after 2-3 days (Vitamin-A products can also be restarted).

    • Avoid any Alcohol-based toners and Direct sun exposure for at least 10-14 days.
